There is certainly a place for YOU at Catonsville United Methodist Church!
WorSHIP Services
Children: We welcome children in all of our worship services. A fully staffed nursery is available for babies and toddlers during the 8:30 and 10:00 services.
Common elements: We currently share in Holy Communion (the Eucharist/Lord’s Supper) on the first Sunday of the month in all of our services. Pastor David brings the same message, albeit in slightly different styles.
8:30 a.m. Blended Service: This casual, contemporary service is typically 45 minutes in length. Worship music is led on the piano or guitar, with words projected on a screen. Modern contemporary gospel and praise music is featured, although traditional Methodist hymns are sometimes used.
10:00 a.m. Traditional Service: This service is typically 60 minutes in length. Worship music is led by organ and piano. We make use of the United Methodist Hymnal and a variety of prayers printed in the paper bulletin that you will receive upon entering the sanctuary. Most of the year, our choir will sing several selections during these services. Many attendees have business casual dress, although some dress more casually and some dress more formally. We’re not fussy about it!
7 p.m. Contemporary Service: This service features a worship band and contemporary/modern praise and worship music. It is our most casual service when it comes to dress. Jeans and shorts are common. The service runs between 60 and 75 minutes.

Parking
We have ample parking in two parking lots. The main lot is adjacent to the church building, between Melvin Ave. and Winters Lane. A smaller lot is across Melvin Ave. (across Frederick Rd. from the post office).
The ENTRANCE
The simplest place to enter the church is through the main parking lot door near Melvin Avenue. Our building is rather unique in that the worship space (sanctuary) is 2 floors up from the main parking lot. An elevator is available on your left immediately upon entering.
