A Year of Prayer

2020 is a year where we are seeking to grow our life of prayer as a congregation. Below are some ways that you act learn, grow, and act in prayer.


Join the Prayer Course Thursdays, starting Feb. 27, 6:30pm, in Rm. 211.

Read How to Pray: A Simple Guide for Normal People, by Pete Greig (Get it from Amazon.com or Cokesbury).


Pray at home using the Lectio 365 app.

Pray together with others most Tuesdays from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. at an informal time of prayer in the Sanctuary.

Pray for 1 hour during our week of non-stop (24/7) prayer: See our 24/7 prayer page.

Receive Prayer Ministry Sundays in the prayer chapel following 8:30, 9:30, 11:00am and 7:00pm worship.


Receive training by Pastor David to serve on our prayer ministry team, February 18 and 25 at 7:30pm.

Go on a prayer walk at 10am on Saturday, March 7, April 11, May 9, or June 6. Join with others to pray around our community.

Take part in “Thy Kingdom Come” Prayer. Join the global wave of prayer calling all Christians to pray between Ascension (May 21) and Pentecost (May 31) for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. See here for more information.
